Open Question: How imported is the recommend gpa for rushing at UofA?

University of Arizona recommend that you have a 3.0 unweighed gpa I have a 2.85 unweighted, how badly will this hurt my chances of getting into a good sorority at rush edit: my gpa is only that low because my grades from freshman year were crappy (I got straight A's and B's the next two years) so I wondering if it would be better to wait until spring so I can use my college gpa...
